Blatant Lie, what?

Ohohoho and once again this article pops up in my newsfeed. I have a lot to say about a lot of what is written in it. But for now I'll just stick with the first "lie" viz "The fundamental divide between Hindus and Muslims".

So no such divide existed? Right. It was all flowers and sunshine, Hindus and Muslims were living peacefully within the undivided subcontinent. Theek bhai. Muslims used to celebrate holi and offer sacrifices to Bhagwaan while they recited passages from Rig-Veda. Sahi. Hindus on their end, used to punctually offer ceremonial prayer within mosques 5 times a day. The more pious pandits even offered tahajjud. Hindu butchers would only too happily slaughter cows for their Muslim brothers. The norms of culture and tradition were far far stronger than those of religion indeed. There were simply NO differences between the two communities. Sub theek thaak tha janaab.

The Hindu majority were absolutely alright with having their centuries old rule ended at the hands of the incoming Muslims who were not seen as invaders but as fellow humans who just liked living dangerously. Mahmood Ghaznavi was highly regarded as an adventurer and a legendary warrior by the Hindu community and forgiven for his destruction of their temples with utmost magnanimity. Good old Akbar the Mughal emperor even remixed Islam in an effort to please his Hindu subjects, in a clear indication of the fact that what "little" differences between the two communities existed, were always attempted to be removed by both sides. Yes.

Pakistan Movement, what? It was obviously just an effort by a power hungry man with a "few" misguided Muslims behind him, all hell bent on securing a piece of territory for the sole selfish purpose of establishing their own tyrannical rule. It had nothing to do with a religious divide, are you kidding me? Come on! All the carnage which occurred on both sides of the border in 1947 is further proof of the fact that...Muslims and Hindus were driven mad by the grief of separation so they got a little emotional. Therefore they simply cannot be blamed for any and all murders, rapes and destruction of life and property which they carried out. True, true.

Even to this day, the constant minority killings of Hindus and Muslims in India and Pakistan is further attestation of the fact that both communities have absolutely nothing against each other, they intrinsically and inherently adore each other and they would still like to live in a unified subcontinent. Sub kay dil saaf hain, ham sub bhai bhai hain.

Wars, what? We just like to play with each other from time to time, no big deal come on! It's good practice and all the military arsenal which is being developed by both countries, is just for the sake of friendly, brotherly competition intended for the mutual benefit and progress of both nations. It has got nothing to do with hatred, sillies. You really think Hindus and Muslims, Pakistanis and Indians would ever shoot a bullet or drop a bomb on each other? Pffft.

Hindus and Muslims. We are one. We always have been, we always will be. And together, we will perpetually endure the repercussions of Mr. Jinnah's legendary blunder.

P.S: Oh that little time period of Congress rule from 1937-1939 when they were throwing pigs in mosques, banning azaan and performing other harmless, insignificant activities? It was just a few Hindus who had consumed one too many shrooms. Nothing was intentional, it was all involuntary. No hard feelings, none at all.
